Dana has been invited to Faerie to be officially presented at the Seelie Court of Queen Titania and wonders if she should really go. Prince Henry, Titania's son, reminds her she can be arrested if she refuses. After a perilous journey, Dana arrives only to be implicated in an assassination attempt against Titania's granddaughter. Forced to flee for her life she wonders if, and when, she will be able to prove her innocence.
