Weekends with Daisy

Mourning the death of her beloved German shepherd, Sharron Luttrell decides to volunteer as a weekend puppy raiser. During the week Daisy is cared for and trained by a convict who is soft-spoken and polite. Sharron learns that Keith takes very good care of Daisy and the two begin to bond over their care of the pup. Then Sherron discovers the horrifying crime that led to Keith's incarceration and her faith in him is shattered. It takes Daisy, and her unwavering trust in Keith, to help Sharron come to terms with Keith's past and to recognize his struggle for redemption. Sharron and Keith believe they are training Daisy but in truth she is the one showing them how to fulfill their own destinies, to grow up, let go, and to experience what it really means to sit, to stay, and to love.
