Even money

While Ned is at the Royal Ascot horse-race, a man steps from the crowd claiming to be his father, whom Ned thought was dead. Later in the parking lot, Ned's alleged father is found badly wounded from a stabbing from a thug demanding money and his father warns Ned to be careful. Ned learns that his father was the prime suspect in his mother's murder and that his stabbing may be linked to some horse-racing fraud. Ned now races to find out about his father's history before it costs him his life.
