The madman of Venice

Prosperous merchant Master Ashby travels with his daughter, his clerk, and his sister from London to Venice to investigate pirate attacks, and, once he arrives, he also agrees to look into the disappearance of a Jewish girl who has vanished from the Venetian Ghetto, uncovering a link between the two cases and finding his life in danger.
