The choice

Aggie Travers's parents are relieved when Karen, a substitute teacher who seems to understand their child and her telekinetic powers, arrives on the scene, but they do not know who to trust when a government agent tells them Karen has been linked to the disappearance of other children who share Aggie's gift.
