The palace thief

A collection of four short stories about people at critical moments of their lives who have to come to terms with the change in direction they face. The title story is about a professor at an elite prep school whose encounter with a student, who happens to be the son of a powerful senator, alters his life. At a reunion with his students forty-one years later, the professor faces the fear that he may have failed to be a great teacher. In support of the Common Core Learning Standards. (CCLS).
