Crazy good

Tells the story of Dan Patch, a horse born crippled and unable to stand that became the most famous athlete in America in the late nineteenth century after winning a race at the county fair which propelled him into a celebrated racing career, and discusses the corruption associated with horse racing during the days before the automobile became commonplace.
