The magic paintbrush

A Chinese orphan named Ma Ling wishes for a paintbrush so that he can be a painter, and when an old man gives him one in a dream, Ma Ling discovers that the objects in his paintings become real. The young boy uses the gift to help people, but when the emperor has him seized, Ma Ling is forced to paint to fulfill the greedy ruler's wishes.
