The long road home

Gabriella Harrison, psychologically scarred by the almost constant beatings she got as a child from her mother, is given a reprieve from the abuse when she is sent to live at a convent school, but even as an adult her life does not go smoothly, and she finds she must confront her past before she can deal with the future.
