Anthony Lopes, a Rhode Island seventeen-year-old set for a life as a fisherman like his late father, causes a man's death while robbing a mansion with his best friend and becomes darkly obsessed with the man's daughter, who does not know the role he played in her father's death, seeking to atone his sin by gaining her forgiveness and love.
