While practicing his karate kicks in the park, Marshall makes a new friend, Tate. At first, Tate is reluctant to talk to him - she knows firsthand that not everyone is friendly to a person who is differently-abled! Marshall, Art, and their friends prove to Tate that she's a kid, just like them.
