Critical Reading: Heroes

Presents twenty-one lessons in three units, each lesson consisting of an article on a heroic person or persons, such as Jackie Robinson, Cesar Chavez, Mahatma Gandhi, Nellie Bly, or Hans and Sophie Scholl, followed by four reading comprehension and four critical thinking exercises; and includes graphs and charts for tracking individual progress throughout each unit.
