My enemy's cradle

Cyrla, a young Jewish woman from Poland living with Dutch relatives, seeks temporary shelter from the Nazis by posing as her pregnant cousin Anneke who has committed suicide after being granted a place in the Lebensborn, a maternity home for girls carrying German babies, and must learn to trust Karl, the soldier who impregnated and deserted Anneke, for her continued safety.
