The diplomat's wife

Marta Nederman escapes a Nazi prison camp and meets Paul, an American soldier, but their plans for a life together end after Paul's plane crashes, leaving Marta alone and pregnant and forcing her to marry a British diplomat who brings Marta happiness and security, until a ghost from her past exposes a Communist spy in their midst.
