Lenk and his five companions, having recovered the tome of the Undergates, set out to remove the relic away from the demonic reach of Ulbecetonth, the Kraken Queen, but their journey is plagued by bloodthirsty alien warrior women, fanatical sea beasts, heretic-hunting wizards, and their own personal rivalries and madnesses.
