An-Ya and her diary

An-ya was a baby in China when she was left in a box, with a blank diary, to be found and taken to an orphanage. As she grows she watches cute babies being adopted but not the older children. And then one day at age 11 it's her turn. She leaves for America with her new parents. But the adjustment is terribly difficult for her and soon she begins to write in her diary.
