Patti Kim immigrated from South Korea to America when she was very young. Here she presents a wordless picture story illustrating how she felt in the bewilderment of a new world through the eyes of a little Korean boy, whose only comfort from home is a little red seed he keeps in his pocket. When he loses that seed out of his high apartment window, a young girl picks it up--chasing after her helps the boy learn to appreciate his new home.
