Crossfire

A diverse group of men and women, fleeing a troubled Earth, arrive on the planet Greentrees where they plan to start a colony under the leadership of Jake Holman, but they are dragged into war when they discover the planet is already inhabited by two alien races, the DNA-based humanoids known as the Furs, and their deadly enemies, the Vines, a race of sentient plants.
