The Longman anthology of world literature

Collects works of literature from around the world from antiquity through the twentieth century, presenting several including Homer's "Odyssey" and Dante's "Inferno" in their entirety and extensive sections of others; explores connections between paired works from different places and times; and discusses literary and cultural issues related to particular writings.
