Girls on fire

Not long after a star high school basketball player is found dead with a gun in his hand outside of small-town, conservative Battle Creek, Pennsylvania, lonely smart-girl Hannah Dexter finds herself becoming friends with Lacey Champlain, the eye-shadowed, Kurt Cobain-loving bad influence. Soon Hannah begins acting more like Lacey, and finds a fierce defiance streak in her that will prove to have unexpected, harrowing consequences.
