The white road of the moon

Fifteen-year-old Meridy Turiyn lived with her Aunt Tarana, who planned to sell her in an apprenticeship--which was what finally drove Meridy to run away. With the unique and feared ability to see and speak to the dead, Meridy travels alongside a ghost dog as she tries to help a dead boy and mysterious stranger who both seem to desperately need her.
