Mutiny on the Bounty describes how Fletcher Christian and a number of the crew of the "Bounty" rebel against the cruel Captain Bligh and set him adrift in an open boat with the loyal members of the crew; the epic story of the 3600 mile, open-boat voyage of Captain Bligh and his companions is recounted in Men against the sea; and Pitcairns Island describes the life of the mutineers with the Tahitian natives in the colony they founded.
