Angelic Layer

Shortly after moving to Tokyo to live with her TV star aunt, junior high school student Misaki Suzuhara is chosen to compete in Angelic Layer, the arena game in which opponents use their minds to control miniature robot fighters called "Angels" in battles. Despite the support of Ichira "Icchan" Mihara, the scientist who nominated Misaki, Misaki is soon in over her head.
