Threats to civil liberties

In recent years more than two dozen states have purged voter rolls, closed polls in certain areas, and introduced strict voter ID laws which have the impacted voting rights of young people, the elderly, and minorities. This book helps teen readers understand what the issues are, how they have come about, what actions are being taken to address the concerns, and why some of those actions are controversial.
