Whirligig

Sixteen-year-old Brent Bishop's attempt to commit suicide by driving drunk results in the death of a lovely, talented high school student, but he finds forgiveness and gains an understanding of the interconnectedness of life when he honors a request by the victim's parents to build four whiligigs in her memory and place them in Washington, California, Florida, and Maine.
