Seventeen-year-old Molly Bates goes missing just before she and her loner boyfriend, Cobain, eighteen, were set to run away together. Cobain is the prime suspect but legitimately has no idea where she is. Independently, he begins questioning her friends and family to find out what happened and begins to realize he might be the one getting manipulated by a smart, resourceful girl. But when family secrets are revealed, he learns the truth may be closer to home than he realizes.
