The plague

Fifteen-year-old Nell is rescued from her impoverish life with her family in London due to her resemblance to King Edward the Third's daughter, Princess Joan, but when the plague takes the life of Joan, Nell is forced by Joan's brother to take on the princess's identity full-time.
