Based on the book by Valentine Davies. The story of an old man who thinks he is Santa Claus. When those who don't believe him take steps to have him put away, the case goes to court and on the outcome hangs not only Kris's fate but also the political future of the presiding judge, the integrity of the U.S. Post Office, and the happiness and dreams of those who have become close to Kris.
