Ratchetdemic

Explains the concept of "rachet" behavior in education, which are behaviors, actions, and ideas of minority students that often are dismissed and considered disruptive and ignorant. Explores the flaws of a White-centric education in the United States and advocates for a "ratchetdemic" mindset which allows both students and teachers to exercise the ability to express themselves in a way that feels natural and comfortable for them and that embraces differences in expression and learning.
