Digby, a young collector of interesting objects, finds a moon rock brought from the moon by Neil Armstrong in Mr. Rummage's stall at the antiques market, which inspires the proprietor to tell Digby and his sister all about the life and adventures of the first astronaut to set foot on the moon.
