When Dodger, the big blue chimpanzee genie, magically portrays fifth-grader Willie one day at school, Willie finds himself running for student council president.

Miserable because his only friend moved away and he has once again caused his baseball team to lose a game, fifth-grader Willy Ryan's life suddenly becomes a lot more interesting when he finds Dodger, a furry, blue chimpanzee that only he can see.

When sixth-grader Sophie receives a mysterious ring, she discovers that putting it on turns her into a genie. Now, she must learn to manage her new powers while finding her place in school.
