In the final battle, Yugi faces the owner of the island and the host of the tournament, Maximillion Pegasus, who has the power of the Millennium Eye, which allows Pegasus to know what his opponent is going to do, leaving Yugi to wonder how he can win the tournament, and save his grandfather's soul.

Kaiba battles Pegasus in a match that pits the world's two best gamers tongether, while the American card shark, Bandit Keith, prowls the castle with evils plans of his own.

Yugi and Jonouchi fight to escape the subterranean maze of the Meikyu Brothers, and then Yugi must face Kaiba, the vengeful former game master, in their third Duel Monsters battle atop Pegasus Castle.

On the Duelist Kingdom island, Jonouchi faces Mai Kujaku and "Dinosaur" Ryuzaki while Yugi squares off against Ryota Kajiki, as the battle to find the greatest Duel Monsters player in the world gets underway.

Yugi, finally in possession of all the Egyptian God Cards which hold the keys to unlocking his memories of his past life as an Egyptian pharaoh, uses the Millennium Eye to travel with his friends to ancient Egypt to explore his past and to fight an enemy who has been waiting for them for three thousand years.

Hikaru teams up with a Shogi named Tetsuo in hopes of defeating Akira.

Yugi and his friends are sent to the Duelist Kingdom, where they must compete with the world's greatest Duel Monsters players for the honor of fighting the man who made the game.
