Darth Vader continues to have visions of what could have been which are guided by the Ghost Nebula's mysterious priestess, while his troops fight a disastrous battle on a tar-pit world, bringing him no closer to finding Moff Tarkin's missing son, but closer to a traitor.

Darth Vader embarks on a journey to the mysterious Ghost Nebula to locate and rescue a missing Imperial expeditionary force, but his mission is complicated when he learns he is being paired with a very stubborn co-commander and that the officer leading the missing men is the son of Vader's rising nemesis.

Young Darth Vader is tasked with locating a lost expeditionary force led by the son of Vader's rising nemesis, Moff Tarkin, in a system in the Ghost Nebula.
