Back in Los Angeles, the Runaways face their biggest challenge to date when soldiers from Karolina Dean's home planet arrive and demand the surrender of their fellow Majesdanians for an unnamed crime, and the juvenile superheroes are at odds over how to respond to the threat.

When the Runaway friends are attacked by soldiers from Majesdane who want to abduct Karolina believing she has done their race a great wrong, the Runaways begin to argue over the best way to interrogate the Majesdanian warrior they captured. Running out of time, they must figure out how to stay together and not let the enemy tear them apart.
