Venus knew the trivks. She put glycerine on the her teeth so her lips dodn't stick when she had to smile and smile. She knew how to pretend to be seven or eleven. When they asked her how old she was, she knew enought to say, "How old do you need?" Venus didn't want to smile and pretend anymore. She didn't want to dress up in a Cinderella dress and wear pretty glass slippers. Venus wanted to trade all that in for a uniform and soccer cleats. Now Venus has only one goal:to shine as a player on the Comets' soccer team.
