Until this morning, I was a regular third grader. Then something crazy happened: I was walking my dog Scout when a squirrel hit me with an acorn. BONK! Suddenly I could talk to - and understand- scout, the squirrels, and even bugs! My day got even worse when my best friend Leo's homework went missing, and Leo blamed Scout. Trust me, Scout did not eat Leo's homework. But how could I prove it? There was only one thing to do, talk to the animals around town. I t was up to me to get a clue and solve the mystery.
