Jack and his friends, Merle and Loaf, on a mission to find the person who created the Outernet--a link to other planets and galaxies--find themselves battling the evil FOEs, and meeting up with orange aliens, and back-talking spaceships.
"How great would it be to have a program on your laptop that gives you a link ... to another galaxy??!! That's just what's happened to Jack, Loaf, and Merle. They've discovered the Outernet--and the Outernet has discovered them!".
Jack and his friends are launched into a grand adventure when they discover the used laptop computer Jack received for his birthday is really the last uncontrolled Outernet server in space.
