Maestro Petrini, a musical mouse who works as a page turner for the prompter at the Metropolitan Opera House, brings his family to a special children's performance of Mozart's "The Magic Flute," and gets so carried away by the music he is nearly apprehended by Mephisto, the music-hating cat who lives in the basement.
