The dark wizard Malvel unleashes the beast Soltra the Stone Charmer in the marshes surrounding Tom's village, forcing Tom to leave everything he loves behind in order to protect his family.

Tom and Elenna must stop Sepron the Sea Serpent from destroying the people of Avantia's coast.

Young Tom, on a mission to tell the king about the disasters befalling his small town, is recognized as the son of Taladon, a swordsman who went missing years earlier, and sent on a quest to free the fire dragon Ferno, once a protector of the kingdom, from the grip of evil magic.

Tom continues his journey by entering the dangerous jungle where he confronts a terrible creature which was created by a powerful wizard.

In order to save Avantia and end his mission, Tom must battle the monster squid Zepha.
