"Find, Claim, Profit," In a post-Covenant War galaxy littered with scrap, it's the salvager's motto - and Rion Forge certainly made her mark on the trade. All she wanted was to grow her business and continue the search for her long-lost father, but her recent discovery of a Forerunner debris field at the edge of human-occupied space has now put her squarely in the crosshairs of the Office of Naval Intelligence and the violent remains of the Covenant. Each faction has a desire to lay claim to the spoils of ancient technology, whatever the cost, sending Rion and the crew of the Ace of Spades on a perilous venture - one that unexpectedly leads them straight into danger far greater than anything they've ever encountered.

Humanity has spread beyond the Sol System and the United Nations Space Command fears they have lost control. In an effort to prevent an interplanetary civil war, the UNSC calls on Dr. Catherine Halsey of the Office of Naval Intelligence, whose work on a top-secret program could lead her to the boy who is humanity's hope.

The human crew of the "Pillar of Autumn" tries to hide from the hostile aliens in Slipspace, where they uncover an ancient mystery and the long-lost race that inhabits a massive, artificial ring-world, but after they are forced to crash-land on its surface, the humans get caught in middle of a violent struggle for control of the land.

The Master Chief, the last of the SPARTAN bioengineered warriors, is charged with rescuing the survivors of the destruction of the ring-shaped world of Halo, and leading them safely through battle with the remaining Covenant troops, and finally to home.

Section Three, a secret cell of the Office of Naval Intelligences, travels to the planet Onyx, where the soldiers are suppose to begin their plan to save Earth, but instead they awaken an ancient technology.

One member of the black-ops team Kilo-Five is missing on Sanghelios, and they must rescue him before he falls into the wrong hands.

After the worst of a war on Earth that has seen billions dead, peace seems closer for the recruits of military group Kilo-Five as they struggle to stop a Civil War and defeat a terrorist group bent on revenge against Earth.
