It's 1973 in the sleepy Connecticut suburbs and sixteen-year-old Zoe Diamond has a lot on her mind. Her best friend Naomi has threatened to commit suicide. Zoe wants to help her but is not sure how. Zoe has also developed confusing and intense feellings for Rivka Lev, her young Hebrew School teacher. It's safe to say that Zoe's coming-of-age experiences will be difficult for her to deal with.
