Capital girls

Washington, D.C., best friends Jackie, Lettie, and Laura Beth, the daughters of very powerful parents, struggle to cope with the death of a fourth friend, Taylor, in a mysterious accident as long-kept secrets and new students in their senior class test their bond.

On top of everything else, including a memorial party on the anniversary of Taylor's death, the Capital Girls face new challenges when Laura Beth's soon-to-be stepfather announces he is running for President, catching Jackie and Lettie in the middle of a battle that could turn ugly.
