Beet, a Vandel Buster who has dedicated himself to destroying the Vandels who have ushered in the Age of Darkness, becomes separated from his team of warriors and left alone to face two powerful Vandels, including Sir Baron and the vicious Hystario.

Beet and Poala enter the Black Horizon and battle giant spiders, zombie soldiers, and Vandel Grineed's most powerful servant, Frausky.

When Beet finally gets his wish to become one of the Vandel Busters, a group of roving heroes who destroy monsters and take on the Vandels who set them loose, he gets much more than he bargained for.
