Eighteen-year-old Sam Lee, having been attacked by a wild dog after a concert for her indie rock band, begins exhibiting behaviors of a werewolf and must figure out the werewolf world in New York before her bandmates, the media, and her mother uncover her secret.

Sixteen-year-old Natalie Fuentes wants to concentrate on her self-published magazine and stay out of trouble at her new school, but her plan is quickly thwarted when she witnesses a brutal attack and becomes entrenched in a related mystery.
