In Superman's absence, Superman's adopted son Chris Kent and Kandor's head of security Thora Ak-Var, unite, disguised as legendary Kryptonian heroes Nightwing and Flamebird, to root out and capture General Zod's sleeper agents on Earth in hopes of preventing war between humans and Kryptonians.
