The mystery of Norm Lewis's disappearance is thought to be solved with the spring thaw when his Cessna is discovered half submerged in the waters of an isolated Alaskan lake, but state trooper Alex Jensen is handed another riddle when the only body found in the plane is an unidentified woman, apparently dead of bullet wounds, and Norm is nowhere to be found.
