Patrick Riley, a New York City cop, wants nothing more than to let his son, Scooter, have the same kind of childhood he had growing up in the Bronx, but in the wake of Dr. King and Bobby Kennedy's assassinations and the rising sense of turmoil, Patrick begins to wonder if his family would be better off living somewhere safer.
