The author presents forty-eight school shooters in an in-depth study of each, and references others. In an effort to understand why these shootings occur, Dr. Langman has researched what the shooters have in common, how they differed, and if there were any recognizable patterns that would make prior identifications before a tragedy occurred. His research has helped others understand who may be a potential shooter.
