DULCIE SCHWARTZ

Dulcie Schwartz, struggling to complete her doctoral thesis on the Gothic novel "The Ravages of Umbria," stumbles across the dead body of a dashing fellow graduate student, and with the loyal ghost of her late cat, Mr. Grey, strangely silent, she must figure out what happened on her own.

Dulcie, a graduate student, upset after having to put her beloved cat Mr. Grey to sleep, and struggling to find a thesis topic, finds her life getting even more complicated when Tim, the business-school jerk she is sharing her apartment with during her regular roommate's absence, is found murdered--stabbed to death with one of Dulcie's knives.

Dulcie Schwartz is sidetracked from her thesis and studying for midterms when a student goes missing and a professor is killed, while also dealing with a misbehaving kitten and wishing the feline ghost Mr. Grey would help.
