Before Sally's Nana can finish filling in the faces on a row of paper dolls which she has cut out, the five sisters are whisked off on a series of extraordinary adventures.
One hot summer day, Sally's Nana cuts out five paper dolls and has only drawn the first face before the dolls are whisked away into a world of adventure, returning to Sally years later.
